Charlie and the Chocolate factory rumours at Alton Towers?

Toyland Tours to be replaced by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride.

Following the success of Tim Burton's Summer 2005 movie, Alton Towers are creating a ride based on the Roald Dahl classic. The ride is to take the place of Toyland Tours in Cred Street and will be aimed at younger visitors.

There are also plans for a redevelopment of the entire Cred Street area to include a 5-D Cinema and a water ride, but these plans are as of yet unconfirmed.

Plans are also floating around for a Roller Coaster in Gloomy Wood at Alton Towers...more news when we get it!
