Heathrow Airport Resumes Full Flight Schedule

After a week of cancellations and delays Heathrow Airport is now operating a full service of flights.

No further cancellations are expected as a result of the terrorist bomb threats. Security measures remain strict and extra limitations on baggage allowance will continue until further notice.

Travelers are permitted one item of hand luggage measuring no larger than 45cm x 35cm x 16cm and are not allowed to take on board any liquids (including gels, pastes and lotions). All hand luggage is being X-ray screened and electrical items such as laptops are being scanned seperately.

The extra security measures are still expected to delay check in times and passengers are advised to arrive at the airport in plenty of time. To speed up the process people are asked to prepare their luggage in advance considering the new restrictions and to not take items that could contain liquids such as bottles or flasks.

For further information regarding airport security or arrangements travelers are advised to contact the airport or their airline.
