Attractions Around Gatwick Airport
Gatwick Airport is located in West Sussex, just a few miles from Crawley. If you find yourself with time on your hands around the airport, the surrounding area is full of wonderful countryside, pubs, gardens, country houses and castles.
Crawley has a shopping centre, with almost 100 shops in which to browse, and the Crawley Museum Centre, Amberley Museum and Gatwick Aviation Museum offer an insight into the local area and the airport. Arundel Castle, Hever Castle, Nymans Gardens, Wakehurst Place and the World Wildfowl Trust can be toured, Lingfield Racecourse is accessible, and Brighton, with its famous pier, colourful town centre and quirky character, makes a fun day out on the coast.
