Short Stay Prestwick Airport Car park was easy to find . Only fault I’d say was the car park I presumed I was going to be parking in was the one straight across from the terminal. I specifically booked this one as I am pregnant with twins and had my 5 yr old son travelling with me. Choose this car park so we didn’t have far to walk. Arrived and the car park said full even though there was plenty of spaces. Pressed buzzer and I was asked , “what are you trying to do?†To which I replied, “get in the car park to parkâ€. I was abruptly told “didn’t you see the sign, car park full?, reverse and park up to the right up the hill†when I questioned why there was spaces still available I was told these were reserved for other people not myself. And I had to park up the hill. I asked why others had priority over myself and was told that the “just did†I explained my frustration that I had booked this car park for a reason to be told , “you can’t park here now reverse and park up the hill†he then said the car park was actually closing and they were stopping people parking in this car park?!!! If the guy had been honest in first place i would have accepted it but the fact he lied saying the spaces were for other people. I think you should state on website when booking that the car park directly across from terminal is unavailable and you have to park up the hill and walk down a ramp or 15 stairs, which is not a 2 min walk to the terminal. Without a ticket to prove entry date and time I was concerned on return that I should have had some proof of arrival but it really was that simple - pull up to the barrier, press the intercom, provide your surname and you're in and a similar arrangement on exit.
