The CEO of Airparks, the UK's largest off-airport car parking provider, proved his tough-guy credentials earlier this month at the gruelling Iron Man challenge in Austria.
Howard Dove, 40, competed against athletes from across the world in Klagenfurt on 4 July, achieving an on-target total time of 11 hours 10 minutes.
The punishing race involved a 2.4-mile swim followed by a 112-mile cycle and concluded with a full-marathon of 26.2 miles.
Howard finished the swim in 1 hour 10 minutes, the bike race in 5 hours 35 minutes, with a 4 hour 12 minute marathon for good measure.
"This was a tough race and I was really pleased with my total time. I love a challenge so I'll be targeting 10 and a half hours in 2012," said Howard.
The winning athlete completed the challenge in around eight hours.
