Airport Inn Manchester Airport After getting home from Mexico which was delayed 3hrs & a 3hr drive home. I received a letter from parkey eye trying to charge me £100 for parking at the hotel. Booking .com are sorting this for me. Rang the hotel & was given a email adress that didn't work bounced back to me. Tried ringing on three more occasions no-1 picked the phone up. Airport Inn Manchester Airport Flight delayed. Daughter couldn't get through to hotel there was no answer for over an hour. Upon arrival @ 4am kept waiting whilst receptionist was looking for room After asking " Christian have you booked in 116 " looking through a stack of cards, and going back on computer wrasses what the problem was? After a few minutes and hesitation were told the problem was we were on 3rd floor and the the lift only goes to second and rooms are small Upon arrival to room was obviously not the room we had paid for bed very small and room set up for a single traveller after a long day travelling had to phone for more towels on arrival . Not the restful night we anticipated. To make me more upset the customer in front of us at breakfast checked in as a single lady half hour before us and was given s family room! Your check in and room allocation was flawed At least we weren't the couple given a room to find two people already asleep The hotel itself and breakfast was fine. Just not the room we paid for. Also the taxi firm you use did let us down on return had not put us on list and had to wait over half hour. All in all not a good experience Dr Smith 10 Jul, 2016
