Clayton Quite shabby service really.<br /> Struggled to find parking space on arrival.<br /> When we returned from holiday, were quite rudely told that our car was, and I quote "somewhere on the car park round the back" which then took us an age to find. no help, or indication of where it might be parked given.<br /> When we eventually found it , almost every setting within the vehicle had been altered. Premier Inn Heald Green Meet and greet car park service excellent. But instructions on location of car and key collection were hopeless, it wasted so much of our time, and I think the staff and Gregs must be getting pretty fed up with Airparks!!<br /> Bought as package with Premier Inn overnight. Terrible hotel, most unlike the Premier Inn brand. Dreadfully Hot. No aircon, dirty, no bar or restaurant, just a very bad Beefeater next door. NO LIFTS. Clayton Arrival was tricky to find a space and was incredibly tight to park. Had to unload car and passengers before reversing in. Then horrendous for me to get out of car <br /> Even though I had filled in form online I was given more to fill in and return to reception by midnight. As I was on a very early morning flight I wanted to go straight to bed rather than going back to reception.<br /> Return was very quick and easy and car had been taken to an easily accessible space. Clayton The Clayton hotel is literally on the doorstep to the three Terminals. However, you would still need to use the Hotel shuttle service that is provided as the roads are very busy with airport traffic. We've used the hotel twice in the last 4 months and the food and accommodation is top notch. I'd give the food 5 star rating with an amazing selection of foods. The hotel rooms are clean and smart with quick access to the shuttle 'pick up' area out of the front door. These run every 15 minutes but it's important to book your slot via the Reception desk as it can get very busy, especially at peak times<br /> The Shuttle drivers are friendly and very helpful. Clayton Radio channel had been changed. Hood well had been put down which indicates that the roof had been down. We had left the hood well up as we needed the boot space for our luggage. Premier Inn South The parking arrangements were fine but we were required to pay an additional room charge at Premier Inn South at Manchester Airport even though we had booked on line had the booking confirmed and paid up front. Delta Hotels by Marriott On arrival back to the UK at manchester i was given a number to contact by the marriot. We called numerous times for a taxi but only got an answer phone. We rang the Marriot again no answer. We had help from manchester airports customer service for assistance and they had no luck. In the end i paid ten pounds for a rank taxi to retrieve my car from the marriot. Clayton Hotel lovely. Room facing lifts and air conditioning units out the window so felt had short straw on that front. Comfy bed, soundproofing pretty good re lifts but we could hear people talking as they went in and out.. Food lovely as were staff especially in restaurant. They tried to extort more money out of me both on arrival and departure. 10 minute conversation at 02:30 in the morning with a faceless car park controller insisting I owed then money, refusing to let me out of the car park. Britannia Stockport Hotel was disgusting. Clearly not cleaned. The bathroom had a strong smell of stale urine, the light switch had a brown substance all over it, I suspect it was faeces. I couldn't use the shower as it was too dirty! I would never stay there again. When we arrived at the parking destination there were no spaces! We had to drive round for 20 minutes and eventually had to abandon the car in the hope that the other people beside us could get out! a terrible experience and I think Airparks should seriously consider ceasing trade with Britannia Hotels. Clayton Hotel was fine but we had problems collecting the car on return as we came back sooner than planned due to a medical issue with my partner. Despite giving them 3 days notice the car wasn't back for us when we got back to the hotel and we had to wait almost an hour for it to be returned. Premier Inn South I booked through Prmier Inn but had to pay ã10 for the first night on top of the ã136 I had already paid. When I got to Jetpark 1 I was told Premier inn had made a mistake and I had to pay more. The car park was full, had to drive around and wait for someone to leave before I could park. The hotel was excellent. We upgraded to a club room which was definitely worth it for the lounge itself. <br /> However I'm not impressed with the parking on my return. There was a warning light on in my car for a low pressure tyre which wasn't there when I left so they could have been driving it on a puncture. Airport Inn After getting home from Mexico which was delayed 3hrs & a 3hr drive home. I received a letter from parkey eye trying to charge me ã100 for parking at the hotel. Booking .com are sorting this for me. Rang the hotel & was given a email adress that didn't work bounced back to me. Tried ringing on three more occasions no-1 picked the phone up. Mere Court The instructions regarding the difference between long stay and the multi storey car parks, along with confusing signage at the airport meant we parked at the wrong location by accident. Clayton Perfect start to our honeymoon, checked into Clayton with no issues, car was sorted for the duration of our holiday. Hotel friendly and clean. Ate in the restaurant food was very nice only downside was service was very slow. <br /> On return we called the hotel and shuttle bus pulled up as we walked outside of airport, checked out and car was ready and waiting. I was a maintenance man at Cedar Court hotel in Harrogate so know what difficulties hotels have, but it doesn't take much to make a huge difference... & try "cover stain" on the wall & ceiling paintwork before top-coating! A short ten minute drive to the T2 car park but unfortunately I had just missed a bus (saw it pull away from the bus stop as I was parking) and had to wait over twenty-five minutes for the next to arrive. Clayton Only things I have to mention, when we arrived at our hotel including the parking, for some reason they had our parking down as until thursday when we didn't arrive back until friday and it stated we had it until friday on my confirmation from yourselves. It wasn't really an issue as the receptionist just said to put we are arriving late thursday and it will be ok. Maybe have a bit more communication with the hotel so they know exactly what was confirmed to airparks guests. We also didn't want to eat at the hotel, we were going to meet family for dinner for our last night in the uk so we had to take the car, but the receptionist took the ticket we used to get in on check in, we spoke to another receptionist and it seemed bizarre to her that we needed to take the car back out. Britannia Country House No, when we arrived at the hotel we couldn't find a car park space. It was not as what it was disproved online, no cctv that it said it had, the hotel was total chaos, lots of people in my situation not happy at all with the service, where there car had to be left. Staff wanted us to leave our car on a grass verge which had a kerb to get up too, boulders round about it. We weren't happy & asked to move to a safe & secure car park. Mercure Bowdon The hotel room was tiny and far far too warm. The mattress was fit for the bin with a gigantic hole in the centre. We ended up flipping the mattress and turning it round just to try and get some sleep. And there was a function on which we had not been told about and had been placed in the room above so it was incredibly noisy. To add to all this, it is expected that people have heavy luggage being an airport hotel but there is no lift. Radisson Blu We booked the hotel so we would be rested before a long flight to Australia. The hotel was both convenient and comfortable, the staff were without exception, pleasant and helpful and dinner and breakfast were plentiful , well cooked and tasty. Radisson Blu Booked the meet and greet at Manchester after a brilliant experience at Gatwick 3 years previously, but sadly this was anything but meet and greet. Pulling up at the hotel we had to hurriedly unloaded our bags, check in then dash out again to find the 'meet and greet' car park, then walk for 10 minutes back to the hotel, definitely a waste of money. <br /> Meet and greet should be just that; pull up at the hotel, unload, hand your keys over, wave bye bye to the car until returning. Etrop Grange On arrival at Etrop grange the booking in receptionist was pleasant and helpful as was the porter until he broke the handle on our suitcase taking us to our room! He brought another suitcase from list property for us which was the same size but not as good quality as our original and it was dusty and dirty and I had to clean it before repacking!! The food we had for our evening meal was very good which compensated for the staff. One girl was pleasant but 'clueless', one waiter spoke very poor English and found it difficult to make us understand him. The other waitress was rude and unpleasant - after ordering decaffeinated tea I was brought decaffeinated coffee. When I told the 'rude' waitress this she shrugged took it away and we never saw her or anyone else again! Thy either didn't know or weren't that bothered. We had to queue again to complain we couldn't get out and then for someone to let us out. Clayton Not really that good. You have to surrender your car keys on arrival so you cant return to your car with the clothes you travelled in as we'd hoped. The car has to be placed in the rear of the hotel in the dark, in the rain. The hotel bar was inadequately staffed and the room was musty. Transit bus to T1 didn't arrive at the time agreed with reception the night before and we gave up with the return and walked back to the hotel. They referred to road names but there were no road signs in place at the junctions. It would be better to say take the 2nd exit off the roundabout instead of saying turn onto this road. We found the car park by ourselves in the end. Also the instructions said we would get a token at the car park which we didn't and we had to press the help button at 4am to ask why not. A minor criticism here; if this was clearer online it would have prevented me dragging all the luggage to the room - I could have grabbed it when I left the over night bag.<br /> Then driven to the terminal with plenty of time by friendly staff. Radisson Blu No problem with the hotel, it was very nice and ideally situated for our flight. On check-in we were asked if we would like an alarm call and requested a call at 2am. I accordingly signed to confirm this. <br /> I was travelling with my sister, visiting from Australia, we were to catch a 5.20am flight to meet our cruise ship.<br /> Fortunately, she set her phone alarm as the hotel call didn't materialise. <br /> We were very unhappy as we could easily have missed our cruise but the receptionist seemed quite unconcerned when we complained on check-out. Cresta Court It was the first time that my husband and I had ever stayed overnight before a flight, but our flight was very early in the morning, so decided to go the day before, we checked our baggage at the airport before we went on to the hotel.The staff were very helpful, and really pleasant. Village Manchester Cheadle The 2nd bed in a family room is not big enough for 2 children to sleep comfortably. It is barely a single bed. Hotel is having a laugh if they think all but the younges of toddlers can share this bed. We finished up wil one of our children in our bed. Clayton I found the hotel was great. The only thing we had problems with was the menus, in the restaurant we found not really family friendly and the bar was very limited and with myself having dietary requirements I struggled find something to eat. Clayton I had indicated when booking that I have mobility problems and would prefer a room arranged for disabled use. There was no note of this when I arrived. Stanneylands Very dated hotel. Couldn't even get a hot drink on arrival as the bbc were filming. Had to get the manager in the end to sort this out as the bbc has nothing to do with me and I'd paid a lot of money to stay there. Was told the latte machine was too noisy. We were flying from terminal 2, so the bus drops you off at either 1 or 3, a short walk ( or bus) from there to 2 and done.
