Also, in section Q there was a downpour whilst awaiting the bus and the modest sized shelter with the gap between walls and roof proved very inadequate which meant my elderly companion got quite wet. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Guides to parking slots were always helpful. Colour coded areas and numbered rows made finding the car really easy. We could do with a bit more space between cars though, to avoid risk of scratching the neighbours’ paintwork. Little help in understanding changes to system. More impersonal than ever. Being a late flight back, it was guesswork as to where we had to go, although proved simpler than originally feared. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Having read some fairly average reviews was not expecting too much but how wrong I was. There were plenty of staff on hand on our arrival (04.45) and were quickly guided to a parking area where the transfer bus was already waiting. No more than 10 mins transfer to the main terminal. On return I couldn't get through to advise of our arrival but no problem, the bus was again ready & waiting and return to the cars again appx 10 mins. No damage to our vehicle though parking bays were a little tight and some of the service roads a bit rough & potholed but overall the experience was good and would use again. Mr Heath 04 Jul, 2022

Hop on the bus and away you go on holiday. Arriving back, present ticket to bus driver, hop on coach to car park, hop off bus at allocated stop, get car and leave airparks site. However, parking spaces extremely tight, husband had to squeeze into our car due to cars parked so close and move it out so we had room to open the boot for our luggage and so I could open the passenger door without damaging my car or the car parked next to us. On return at Luton, the queue was very chaotic with ‘no queue’ and it was every man for themselves. This was stressful as our small children were pushed away from us. However when we eventually got back to the car was horrified to see the state of the car. It was absolutely covered in birds mess, dusty mud and sticky pollen and leaves from the trees. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport All went well on our arrival for an early flight from London / Luton Airport. Car registration recognised at barrier and parking was clear enough after a short wait for a return ticket to be issued manually. A slight delay with the departure of the bus to the airport but door to door service okay. Easy recognition of the bus on our return and a speedy return to the parking place at Slip End. No problem finding car but found it to be completely covered in dirt, as the car park was being re-surfaced. Rather disappointed. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport The booking process & the coach transfers were OK. What we didn't much like was the new system you have introduced. The site had insufficient lighting as we arrived to collect our vehicle at 1.15am. We were deposited at our red zone & that was it. There was no other assistance available & finding where you had parked the car in the very dark conditions was difficult. The dusty & stony conditions made moving suitcases difficult & the car was smothered in dust which needed a lot of attention before we could exit the site which again was difficult due to inadequate lighting. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Excellent, parking is dead easy. You are told which area to park in and given a ticket (which you keep for use on return), you no longer have to leave your keys so your car is parked in the same place you left it. You then hop on a bus which we waited about 10 minutes for, then off to the airport and dropped of right at the doors to departures. On return you come out of the airport and the bus stops are directly in front of you and clearly marked. Waited about 7 minutes for it to arrive, show your ticket and board. Short drive back to the car park, off the bus, short walk to the car, in you get and off to the barrier, push ticket into machine, barrier lifts and off you go. So incredibly quick and easy ~ we would NEVER use Meet and Greet ever again after they lost our car! This park and ride service is% . THANK YOU Mrs Jones 06 May, 2022

Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Airparks booked for 20th to 25th April. There were problems with our flight, we had to return to the car park and leave for 24 hours to catch next day flight. There was no assistance on the spot to say we were coming back. We had no choice but to rebook with Airparks next day for 21st to 25th April. As Self Parking was full we had to pay more money for the Short Stay. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport I have used Airparks for many years. This was the first time in the last 24 months. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. The car park was poorly lit and the ground full of dangerous potholes. I parked in the dark and rain and arrived back in the dark. With the patchy spot lights and dangerous surface it was a hazardous experience to find my car at 1am after travelling for 20 hours. I found a number and called an attendant who helped me find my car. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Not very good this time. Lots of unhappy people including us that nearly missed our flight. A very slow member of staff taking his time with a queue out onto the road. 50 mins to park up and get on the bus, considering everyone had prepaid it wouldve been easier to scan number plate and give a ticket from a machine. Never felt so rushed and also with security a nightmare everyone was running for the flight. All saying the same about your car park. Also didn't help that someone left something in their car and the bus driver stopped and let her get off the bus and we all had to wait for her. I don't know what you claim the bus frequency is post Covid disruptions, but it took an hour from when we checked in, to arriving at the airport. Too long. With a passenger with restricted mobility we only just got to the gate in time even though we'd allowed over two hours from our arrival at Slip End. Once the transfer bus arrived it sat for at least 15 minutes with the diesel engine running. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Wonderful experience. On dropping the car, we arrived at the gate and a staff explained the rules and where to park. After that we went and parked the car to the designated lot. Went for the bus, took like 5 min of waiting and then a smooth ride to the airport. At pickup we called for the bus after we picked up our bags and by the time we arrived at the bay, the bus was there. Smooth ride back to the parking lot. We found the care where we left it, intact. Airparks Self Park Luton Airport Once I found the car park the checking in process was easy. The check out process was very easy with no problems at all and I would definitely use airparks again. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The only problem I had and the reason it is not a 10 is because of the directions. I followed the directions given (as advised rather than following sat nav directions) following the M1 south and came off at junction 9 as stated but this was not right!! I expected to come to some traffic lights as the directions stated but it was a roundabout and none of the road numbers matched!!
