Liverpool Airport Drop Off & Pick Up

Dropping off or picking up passengers at Liverpool Airport can feel like a stressful experience when you can't find anywhere to park. We've got all the information you need know about dropping off and picking up people from the terminal.

At Liverpool Airport, there are two car parks to choose from: Express Drop Off & Pick Up (for a small charge) and Drop Off 2 car park (free for 40 minutes or less).

Express Pick Up & Drop Off

If you know you will only be at the airport a short while, this option is ideal. Just a 60 second walk away, the Express Drop Off area is situated opposite the terminal, making it the closest drop off or pick up point.

Good To Know

Be aware that the airport operates a Red Route, which is a no stopping zone. The Red Route has clear markings, with double red lines plus lots of signs. It is an offence to stop in the no stopping zone.

Blue Badge Holders

If you're a Blue Badge Holder, you're allowed to park for up to 40 minutes for free in a designated bay. Make sure you take your Blue Badge to the car park kiosk to ensure you get a validated exit ticket.

To get to to Express Drop Off & Pick Up, when you're approaching the airport follow the signs for Express Drop Off and take the left at the roundabout.

Short Stay (Drop Off 2) Car Park

The free Drop Off 2 car park is located a 5 - 10 minute walk away from the terminal. This is a great option if you're looking for free parking when dropping off someone or know you will be waiting around to pick them up. You can park for free for up to 40 minutes.

If you're a Blue Badge Holder, we recommend that you use the Express Drop Off & Pick Up car park. Here you will be able to park up to 40 minutes for free.
