Glasgow Airport Drop Off & Pick Up

If you're dropping off a loved one or picking up some friends at Glasgow Airport, we've got all the essential information you need to know so your experience is as hassle-free as can be.

Glasgow Airport Pick Up Point

Glasgow Airport's dedicated pick up and drop off area opened in April 2017; it is located opposite the main terminal. Customers pay £2.00 for a stay of up to 10 minutes via the ticketless system.

This dedicated facility is only suitable for stays of 10 minutes and under, so is ideal for dropping off and picking up passengers who are ready. To help you navigate your way around, the area has three zones: A, B, and C. Zone C is suited for all vehicles, including minibuses and coaches.

If you need to park somewhere for longer than 10 minutes to drop someone off or collect them, it is advised you use one of the Short Stay Car Parks, Car Parks 1 and 2, or park in Long Stay for free.

Short Stay Parking at Glasgow Airport

Located just a few minutes' walk from the terminal, Car Parks 1 and 2 have ample space and are conveniently located opposite the airport main entrance. No need to worry about your vehicle as the car parks are monitored on CCTV and have regular security patrols. We highly recommend pre-booking your parking.

Blue Badge Holders

If you're a disabled Blue Badge Holder, you can get 30 minutes free parking by showing your badge to any of the kiosks at the car park. There are 10 spaces on the ground floor of Car Park 2 as well as a help point. Car Park 1 has 4 spaces on the multi-storey ground floor. The nearest call point is the area next to the pelican crossing.

Free Long Stay Parking

If you don't mind parking a little bit further away from the airport terminal, you can park in Long Stay for free for the first 30 minutes. From there, it's a 5 minute shuttle bus ride to the main terminal, which runs every 10 - 15 minutes.
