The Hotel
The Normandy hotel near Glasgow Airport is a fantastic airport hotel if you fancy more than just relaxing in your room. Offering a wide variety of tribute acts across the year at the hotel bar, you're sure to kickstart your holiday thoroughly entertained and relaxed. It's a bit further away than some of the other hotels but it certainly makes up for it.
As well as the live tribute acts that you can enjoy during the evening, you'll get free access to the nearby gym so if you feel the need for a last minute workout you'll be ready to go!
The hotel restaurant is an excellent Steakhouse-style affair which is perfect for a slap-up meal and has plenty on the menu for all tastes.
Breakfast is a full Scottish and continental buffet. It only costs £5.50 per person and is tasty and plentiful. Kids eat free too! Breakfast is served from 6.30am Monday to Saturday and 7am on Sundays.
Parking and Transfers
One of the great things about this hotel is you can actually park at the hotel whilst you are away. This is available with our 'Normandy hotel with parking' package and is a really easy option. All you need to do is drive to the hotel and park your car, then in the morning use the free shuttle to the airport.
The Room
The rooms are clean and comfortable, some customers have commented that they are a bit on the small side but they are practical. On the whole the rooms are quiet although you may hear some noise from the road.
You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay in the rooms from en suite bathrooms, hairdryers, a TV, free WiFi and Tea/Coffee making facilities.

Park your car and catch the free transfer to the hotel - it takes about 5 minutes, then it's just a short walk to the airport when you're ready to fly.
Our number 2 slot goes to the Holiday Inn; you cannot get closer to the terminal than the Holiday Inn at Glasgow Airport. It's so close you can actually see the terminal doors from some of the bedroom windows. Not only that, but it's comfortable, clean and very well soundproofed.
The Hotel
Obviously one of the best things about the Holiday Inn is how close it is to the terminal; just a 1 minute walk and you're there, no need to worry about transfers at all. A real bonus if you just can't wait to get your holiday started! The hotel have even installed live departure boards so you can keep an eye on your flight.
If you get peckish there's an on-site restaurant offering a range of hearty British dishes; there's even a kid's menu which they can eat from for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Wifi is free! The internet speed is average to slow, but it good enough for us to stream a netflix movie.
Parking and Transfers
Parking is provided by Skyport; simply drive to the car park and drop off your car. Once you have done that you can catch the free transfer bus to the airport, and you'll find the hotel just opposite. When you get back from your trip the transfer bus will whisk you back to the car park where you can collect your car and be on your way.
The Room
Most rooms have excellent views of the runway with the added bonus of being very well sound-proofed; you can see the planes but that doesn't mean you need to hear them. You'll also find all the mod-cons you need to enjoy your stay in these comfortable rooms.
There's a large TV in every room so you can get comfortable and see what's on the box before drifting off to sleep in your comfortable bed (where you can even choose the firmness of your pillows!)
You'll also find you have climate control, Tea/Coffee making facilities, blackout shades and free WiFi, all of which should make your stay as relaxed as possible/

You'll get a warm welcome when you arrive at the Premier Inn and you can enjoy tasty meals in the chic restaurant. The menu provides good-value food and the bar has a cosy, homely feel to it. If you've got time to spare then Glasgow city centre is nearby with plenty of shops, cinemas and restaurants.

The Hotel
One of the best things about the Travelodge at Glasgow Airport is the food in the onsite restaurant which is not only tasty, but very reasonably priced so you can save some pennies to spend on your holiday.
We do recommend that you book a slot in the restaurant when you arrive at reception as it can get very busy.
