Cambridge Gatwick Airport We had a great stay overnight, we had a standard room, which was modern, clean & comfortable. We left our car there & had an early morning courtesy bus to the airport, which was only around 10 minutes away. On our return we rang to say we had returned & were picked up very quickly. Cambridge Gatwick Airport Everything went well, we stayed over at The Cambridge Hotel near Gatwick Airport & left our car for 8 nights. Room was very comfortable, smart & clean. We had an evening meal which was huge, portions a bit on the large size for us, but very nice. Had a couple of drinks from the bar & went to bed. We needed to be at the airport for around 5 am so skipped breakfast but we paid a small amount for the trip to the airport & the return pick up. Mrs Faulks 18 Jun, 2021

Cambridge Gatwick Airport Took an hour to pick us up after calling (supposed to be 10-15 minutes), reception staff rude and unhelpful, room had damage and no working heating for duration of stay (reception staff unhelpful with this as well), staff walked into our room twice with no notice despite door being locked, reception staff called to extend booking on first morning despite repeatedly confirming two-night booking, refused to give any sort of refund when checking out, said they'd be in contact regarding our complaints and have made no contact. Cambridge Gatwick Airport We used the Airparks service for an early morning flight to Portugal. We stayed in the hotel overnight and used their onsite parking for 5 days whilst away. The service is no frills and you get what you pay for. I was happy with the way things went and that my car was kept on site. There seem to be some issues with being picked up from the airport by another customer we met. Apparently there was a delay and some confusion but if you follow there instructions there should be no problems and we did not encounter any problems. We were picked up within 2o minutes and the drop off went also smoothly. All in all a good basic and cheap way to park and stay overnight. Mr Brown 10 Dec, 2017

Cambridge Gatwick Airport I read the reviews on this hotel and despite a cross-section of opinions decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the shower was the best I've had in a long time, although if youre shorter than 6 foot be prepared to get wet hair as the shower head in my room was fixed quite high and not moveable. This didn't affect my experience a bit. The hotel is situated less than 15 minutes from the airport and they book you onto the minibus to suit you and checking in times as soon as you arrive. Because of its proximity to the airport, be expected to hear plane noise. You can't have it all ways! Access to the hotel reception is via steps or a ramp and if you need a ground floor room, best to ask for one at the time of reservation. The walk to the annexe is short, a couple of minutes at slow pace. The food isn't gourmet but is very good quality and not overpriced. The service was exemplary and all staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The minibus runs 24/7 every 20-30 minutes or as booked when you arrive. Best not to miss it if you need to catch your plane! This hotel caters for weddings and overnight guests from such events so if you book on a Saturday, be prepared for the associated noise if you're a light sleeper! You'll get that anywhere though. My car was reparked a few metres away while I was away and moved back to the hotel car park ready for my arrival. I was more than satisfied with this hotel and considering I paid much less for a night's stay and 8 days parking than just parking alone I would come here again. Ms Gardner 23 Sep, 2017

Cambridge Gatwick Airport The hotel was adequate, the room was a little small especially for my tall husband and he had to be careful he didn't crack his head off the low ceiling, breakfast for an early start is very basic, cereals and/or toast, not good for anyone with restricted diets as no allowances for anyone with dietary intolerances. Didn't really like the carparking arrangements as there was literally dozens of cars at the hotel and it was difficult to park anywhere on arrival. overall, it was ok, but not sure i'd stay there again.
