Leonardo Hotel East Midlands Airport East-midlands Airport Excellent hotel, with friendly, efficient & helpful staff, and the hotel is in sight of the Airport departure lounge, about - mins walking distance. The parking administration was efficient. Initially You park your car outside reception, check in and collect a ticket to place on your dashboard. You then park your car in the allocated area, then on your return, you retrieve the ticket and exchange it for a voucher to operate the car park exit barrier. No dramas! The walk from the hotel to the departure lounge is about 1/4 mile uphill, and could pose a challenge to anyone with walking difficulties, or in inclement weather such as rain, or on frosty pavements, especially when pulling suitcases. However a taxi can be arranged by the hotel if desired. Mr Taylor 15 May, 2017
