Transfers: Transfers aren't needed as Short Stay 3 is just a 7 minute stroll away from the terminal.

On arrival: When you arrive at East Midlands Short Stay 3 Car Park, cameras will read your number plate with automatic number plate recognition. Once your number plate has been read, you'll be issued with a ticket; take it and the barrier will open and you can park up in a space that's convenient for you. When you book you'll need to provide your car details in order to open the barrier. We also recommend that you take a printed copy of your booking if there are any issues. If the barrier doesn't raise, press the intercom and you'll be able to talk to a staff member.

On your return: Upon your return to the airport, proceed to your car and drive to the exit barrier. Please insert your validated ticket to leave and the barrier will raise automatically. Alternatively, return to your car and drive to the barrier where you can use the intercom to quote your booking reference number and registration.

Security: The car park has perimeter fencing, CCTV, lighting, entrance and exit barriers and hourly security patrols. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been accredited by the police to make sure that the site has measures in place to create a safer environment.

Disabled facilities: The car park has disabled parking bays and buses with wheelchair access.

Please note this car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked.

There is a maximum height limit on all vehicles of 2.10m (7 ft).
