Transfers: Transfers run every 10 minutes between the car park and the terminal and take 5 minutes.
On arrival: Pull into Long Stay 1 and park in any available parking bay. Wait at one of the bus stops within the car park. You can keep hold of your car keys - just make a note of where you parked.
On your return: Outside Arrivals, Long Stay buses will be clearly displaying which car park they are serving. When it arrives, hop in and you will be transferred directly to Long Stay 1 where your car will be waiting where you left it.
Security: Official Long Stay car parks are secured and have 24-hour CCTV and regular staff patrols to ensure your vehicle is kept safe whilst you are away.
Disabled facilities: The car park has disabled bays and buses with wheelchair access. Customers with a Blue Badge who have booked Long Stay 1 can park for free in the Short Stay car park for 30 mins to drop off passengers, before parking in Long Stay 1. The Blue Badge ways work on a first come first served basis.

Long Stay 1 East-midlands Average/poor on arrival we had to park far away near an out of service bus stop. On collection it wasn't clear which bus was which. Driver was not very responsive/ helpful drove too fast lots of small children were upset. Dropped off in the middle of nowhere along with other people in the dark. Eventually orientated ourselves and found our car. Noticed families that were on our bus heading along the roadside going to another air parks. Buses should be clearly marked and drivers should use microphone to state clearly which bus takes you where and when they are specific stops. Nightmare for families with lots of children luggage or people with any disabilities. When not busy it's an excellent service if there are courteous drivers on board. Mr Shannon ( out of 5)
