There are lots of offers available for discounts off parking so the on site parking at the airports can be very cost effective compared with other providers. The car parks are secure and I feel safe leaving my car there whilst I'm away. The online booking is also so easy to use. Recently when I'd deleted my confirmation email by mistake and called for assistance I was extremely impressed with the service received. Will definitely book with Airparks again. Short Stay 3 East-midlands Airport Straight forward enough getting in and out of the car park, numberplate recognition very efficient however it was difficult to find a parking space, the spaces were extremely tight and the dead-ends were a bit tricky to reverse up to go down the next isle as some people had chosen to park their car around the edge of the bends and along the sides. My car is quite large it's a Q5 but we managed to park and the car was safe and sound when we returned so that's the main thing, I've always used air parks so I know what to expect overall a good service. Short Stay 3 East-midlands Airport Easy booking good prices and clear signage as the car park has changed from long stay 1 to short stay 3 spaces are a little tight for a nissan pathfinder. Just a 2 minute walk to the airport and a good smooth surface it is just a shame the airport footpaths are bumpy and full of potholes. Cars are not all the same size and I think that an area should be set aside for Chelsea Tractors, BMWS, JAGUARS and other larger vehicles- to avoid damage from their doors to other vehicles.They also often stick out beyond the allotted area, thus reducing manoevring area when trying to park. Airparks also dealt efficiently with our telephone request to move forward our arrival time a few hours when we notified them of a new estimated arrival time a few days previously. The only downside was that the carpark we used (Long stay 1) could have been sign posted better from the main approach road at EMA and it was not easy to position our car in one the last few spaces available when we arrived. This caused some concerns when we got to the airport and things were not as expected. We found a trolley and proceeded to departures - the roads and paths are NOT trolley friendly. There are disabled spaces next to the terminal but we couldn't work out how to reach them. the return from arrivals to the car park is a long way for those with a disability. Short Stay 3 East-midlands Airport I liked the fact that the number plate recognition system worked on arrival and departure with no issues and that Long Stay 1 was very near to the terminal building. Although I have previously booked with Airparks at Doncaster and had no major issues it would be good if the number plate recognition system was in operation at Robin Hood Airport because every time I have been there it hasn't worked, unless the system isn't installed? Coming back it was the same, so easy. We were only able to open our door by a few inches (at both sides) due to the close proximity of other vehicles. Elderly, disabled, taller or heavier people would not have been able to access their vehciles.
