ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport We were given clear instructions on where to park and offered an upgrade which we did not take. The bus was waiting and the driver was polite and helpful. Within minutes, we left the car park and were driven swiftly to the airport. The driver also explained where we should go to be collected on our return. Having had a traumatic time at Paphos Airport and hence being very late, we were delighted to see a bus waiting just outside arrivals which swiftly returned us to our car. Again, courtesy and efficiency were to the fore. I will definitely use Airparks for future departures from Birmingham. Mr Kendry 28 Aug, 2022

ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport The short run carpark was indeed 5 mi uses from the terminal, however the buses only went every 20 minutes meaning you had to allow 30mins from parking to terminal both ways. Poor airport signage to the bus stop was v bad. There was nothing in the terminal. The A sign was not visible from the exit gate. The A sign is not illuminated at night. ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport The positive - short run is only 10 minutes from Birmingham airport. The negatives - the 2 gentlemen working there were determined to make it a difficult experience. The man on the gate insisted the bus driver show us to our space and told him to drive off without us (seriously!) making us wait until he came back from the airport. The bus driver was ridiculously officious regarding parking within some very small white lines - even though there were at least free spaces (no exaggeration). Our car’s parking alarm was going off as we were so close to the car next to us! On return to the airport we were asked to phone the car park - which we did several times. The phone was not answered and the answer phone said the car park was busy. We got lucky and the bus arrived anyway. On arriving at the car park the attendant was just sat in his hut - certainly not busy and certainly not answering the phone. Poor service all round from staff who appeared aggrieved to be at work. ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport Having left home at 3am for an early morning flight the only issues experienced were motorway closures including the junction on M6 for the airport/airparks. This did cause a little stress especially when not knowing the local area and delayed our arrival by 30 minutes. ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport I don't think "enjoy" comes into it, I was simply parking my car for a few days. The good thing was that some kind soul picked up some stuff I dropped whilst running to catch the shuttle, and placed it on my car so I could find it upon my return. The shuttle which i sprinted after then sat at the next stop for 20 minutes! Myself and other passengers were pretty peeved, some were livid and i was actually on the brink of jumping in the driving seat myself when the driver decided it was time to go - he was waiting for some idiots with a pushchair to stroll up, whilst we were tearing our hair out about missing our flights. That driver was a serious cretin. Also, the directions to the carpark were abysmal, bore no relation to reality. Why not just say "Next to Premier Inn" rather than the convoluted nonsense which literally had me driving up and down for 20 minutes, again, sweating about missing my flight. Not everyone gets to plan ahead, mine was a last minute business trip and i could have done without parking stress to add to my woes. We were the first people on the coach, I thought we would leave straight away as you do on other carparks, but we waited for ten minutes until other passengers arrived and also got onto the bus. Initially I didn't like it as I thought we would be late, but when I thought about it, its a lot more personal, and we probably would have had to wait ten minutes for a coach to pick us up anyway, so its the same, well done Airparks. Once at car park we were met efficiently by a lady who gave us our ticket ready for return, and a very pleasant and helpful attendant called John helped get our cases on to the transport. On our return (and we had been delayed for 4 hours!!)the minibus was waiting just outside arrivals. We were taken straight to our car. Excellent service and yes we would use Short Run Airparks again. ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport I had not used ShortRun previously so I based my decision to use your service on the website video. As per the video, we were taken to the airport in a bus with plenty of luggage room and the driver was very helpful and explained where to catch the bus for our departure. it appeared that the driver and bus were the same as in the video. I noticed the car parking area we were directed to had not been retarmaced, but as it was dry this did not represent a problem. Had it been wet it may have done. The retarmacing was emphasised on the video but it only seemed to apply to 50% of the parking area and not all! On our return we went to the designated area to catch the bus and as there were many people trying to catch various car park buses at the same time a large amount of confusion ensued. Eventually your minibus arrived and the situation seemed disorganised as tickets were not checked initially and the luggage could have been stacked unsafely had we not intervened. On arrival back at the car park we again had to intervene to ensure luggage was taken from the bus in order and safely. Overall very good service which I would use again. Mr Atkinson 29 Jun, 2019

ShortRun by Airparks Birmingham Airport Car park very near and easy to get too by following google maps takes you straight there, dropped off right in front of departures. Staff very helpful the only improvement would be when you arrive back to the airport and are waiting at the collection point there is no structure we had loads of people pushing in front and had to wait a few buses because of this. I like the Short Run car park because I keep the keys to my car and the transfer to and from the it is literally less than 5 minutes.
