Check-in

Parking

There is a wide variety of Belfast Airport parking options, both short stay and main car parks are within a short walking distance of the airport terminal, and the long stay car park is accessible via a courtesy bus service. The short stay car park is designed for stays of up to a few hours, the main car park ideal for weekends and short breaks, and the long stay car park for holidays. Passengers can make savings on long stay car parking by pre-booking spaces online. There is also the option to turn up and pay, and payment is made at the machines with credit/debit cards or cash.

Hand Luggage & Liquids

It is important that passengers consult their airline regarding hand luggage, as the size and number of items of hand luggage will vary depending upon the airline you are flying with. There are security restrictions in place regarding the amount of liquids allowed through security control to the departure lounge. Passengers are advised to pack any unnecessary liquids into their hold luggage at check-in to avoid surrendering any personal possessions. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they allow enough time to check-in and pass through security, before reaching the departure gate. Boarding usually starts 45 minutes prior to departure.
