Things To Do Around Manchester Airport
If you are staying in one of the hotels at Manchester Airport, or just find yourself with some time to kill before a flight, there are a number of attractions and local things to do. Manchester Airport Tour Centre hosts guided tours of the facility, and the Runway Viewing Park offers the chance to view aircraft in flight.
The city itself is just 9 miles from the airport, with frequent trains, buses and coaches making the journey, and plenty of opportunity to tour the vibrant town centre, home to unique shops and boutiques, eclectic dining, historic architecture and landmark buildings.
